Technology Credits
All of the games are written in html5 (CSS3 + javascript with the
<canvas> context) using
Phaser, an open source html5 game framework.
The web server is open source
Apache with open source
web2py as the app server and database.
Content Credits
Images used in these games are currently pulled from the web, and credits both in general and with specific referral URLs are presented in the game. As permission is received or the principle of 'fair use' is decided, chunks of content will be made available to public versions of the games.

Each image used has its own source URL within the game. A sample of the credit given within the game is shown below.
The table below shows the general credits per subject. Note that some images from the literature category (book cover images) and the city photos are used under the 'fair use' principle because they are low resolution and the games are educational and non-commercial. In addition, those images are promotional images, so it is our conclusion that inclusion at low resolution in the game cannot cause any commercial harm to the copyright owners, if anything a slight benefit.
