I added a new item and it does not appear. You can have several pages of items. Use the gray bar at the bottom to move between the pages using a swipe.
The app won't take a symptom name longer than 25 characters. This is an intenional limitation. Long titles for symptoms make the UI messy and irregular for sorting and layout. Symptoms almost always have a short simple name, and we found that doctors and nurses do not like long names for symptoms. Users prior to August 2019 can put in longer names, but the UI suffers.
Can you integrate this with the Apple Watch or the iPhone activity app? That is a great idea and we have considered it, but the integration and testing is a very large piece of work and it is a bit too much extra to add into and support for this free app.
Can you integrate environmental conditions into the app? There are so many possible environmental measures (and variations of each) and sources of information that this effort would multiply the size and complexity of the app many times, and make the UI horrendously complex. It would no longer be a 'simple' app. It is easy and far less complex for any user to create items for environmental measures that they want to correlate with symptoms (such as weather changes for joint issues) and enter those into the app each day.
What is the purpose of the PIN?The PIN is an optional feature allowing you to lock the data in this app from others who might use your phone temporarily (eg, your children).
Why would I use Dropbox? If you want to use the app on more than one device, or get a new device (eg, you lose your phone), then save your data from one device into Dropbox and you can then load the data into the app on a different device. You can also use it to directly see all your data (stored as JSON files) if you or a friend wants do do your own analytics on your data. I save my data to Dropbox every week and use the Dropbox data to create pages of year-long graphs for my allergist.
Why does it say 'All day' at the top, and can I get rid of it?This refers to the division of the day for those users who collect separate data in specific chunks of the day. 'All day' is the default name for the first division, and you can change it by going to Settings->Day divisions and tapping on the words 'All day'.

For version 1.233 and later, 'All day' does not show up if there is only one time division.
